Projects

1. Hazelden Foundation - 2003

This project consisted of sewer improvements for the foundation. A new lift station and forcemain was installed along with some manholes. This project was all directional drilled with the exception of the lift station area. The forcemain was a 6" line and included a lake crossing.

2. City of Forest Lake - 2001-2004

GM Contracting has done different projects for the City of Forest Lake. All of these projects have been watermain improvements throughout the city that GM Contracting directional drilled.

3. Lake Washington Sanitary Sewer District Fall 2004 - Spring 2006

This is a sewer forcemain project connecting all the homes around Lake Washington up to a sewer system and pumping the sewer into the City of Mankato. There was approx. 145,000 feet of various sized pipe, 400 individual grinder stations and 2 main lift stations.

4. Northstar Ethanol Plant (Lake Crystal) Fall 2004 - Spring 2005

Installed over 63,000 feet of wastewater discharge line.

5. City of Lake Elmo - 2006

This project was a watermain project that consisted of installing approx. 4000 LF of 16" HDPE watermain by directional drilling. GM Contracting, Inc. has completed two watermain improvement projects for the city. Both projects had approx. the same amount of work associated with them.

6. Otsego - 2006

This was a sewer forcemain project that consisted of approx. 7000 LF of 6" forcemain by directional drilling along with air release manholes.

7. Kandiyohi County-Lake Florida - WIP

This is a sewer forcemain project connecting all the homes around the lake. There is approx. 50,000 LF of pipe on this project, 185 individual grinder stations, and 2 main lift stations. All the pipe and grinder stations are installed and connections are now being made to the homes.

8. City of Mankato Pearl and Beech 2005

Reconstruction project of sanitary, storm and watermain pipe.
