Projects

1. Lake Washington Sanitary Sewer District Fall 2004 - Spring 2006

This is a sewer forcemain project connecting all the homes around Lake Washington up to a sewer system and pumping the sewer into the City of Mankato. There was approx. 145,000 feet of various sized pipe, 400 individual grinder stations and 2 main lift stations.

2. Northstar Ethanol Plant (Lake Crystal) Fall 2004 - Spring 2005

Installed over 63,000 feet of wastewater discharge line.

3. Kandiyohi County-Lake Florida - WIP

This is a sewer forcemain project connecting all the homes around the lake. There is approx. 50,000 LF of pipe on this project, 185 individual grinder stations, and 2 main lift stations. All the pipe and grinder stations are installed and connections are now being made to the homes.

4. City of Chanhassen - Raw Watermain Well #12 & #13 - work completed in 2008

This is a raw water main project that connected two new wells to the water treatment plant. Work consisted of approx. 3500 LF of pipe ranging from 6"-24" both directional drilled and open cut. Connections and restoration was also included.

5. City of Plymouth - Raw Watermain Well #16 - work completed in 2008

This is a raw water main project that connected a new well to the existing raw water main system. Work consisted of approx. 3200 LF of 18" pipe, most of which was directional drilled along with connections and restoration.

6. City of Chisago City - work completed in 2007

This was a water main project extending out of Chisago City approx. 15000 LF. It consisted of 12" HDPE directionally drilled pipe with hydrants, services, and connections to the existing.

7. City of Mankato - work completed in 2008

GM Contracting has done several jobs for the City of Mankato in new construction, directional drilled, and reconstruct work. Some of the recent projects that involve directional drilling are Sumner Hills - Directional Drill new water, sewer & storm sewer through out the development (approx. 10000 LF of pipe from 1"-16"), Mankato Raw Water mains - Approx. 3000 FT of 24" ductile water main open cut with a 600 LF 30" HDPE River Crossing Drilled, Pearl & Beech Street - complete reconstruct of approx. 4 blocks of street and utility including 500 FT of 16" drilling for storm and sanitary, Harvest States Forcemain 8" force main HDD, Northside Lift Station 8" force main with 1000 LF HDD river crossing.

8. City of Fairmont - work completed in 2008

GM Contracting has completed several projects through out the City of Fairmont including directional drill projects, new subdivisions, and reconstruct work. The most recent project was completed in 2008 which included the reconstruction of Lake Avenue. All Utilities were replaced and a new lift station installed along with a new road, curb and gutter, and sidewalk.

9. City of Marshall - work completed in 2008

GM Contracting has completed several projects for the City of Marshall with the most recent being Southview Drive Reconstruction. This project consisted of the reconstruction of all utilities along with the street, curb and sidewalks.
